Bayside Hideaway Animal Policy
At Bayside Hideaway, we strive to maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space for every guest. In accordance with the ADA, FHA, and Minnesota law, we gladly welcome trained service animals. For stays of 30 days or more, we understand that the Fair Housing Act requires consideration of emotional support animal requests; however, after assessing the unique conditions of this property, we’ve determined that we are not able to accommodate ESAs at Bayside Hideaway.
Because the home sits directly on the riverfront, the natural landscape brings in sand, water, and outdoor debris that make turnovers especially sensitive. In addition, the home’s interior furnishings and materials are particularly vulnerable to wear, allergens, and debris brought in by animals of any kind. After many years of hosting, we’ve learned that we’re not able to maintain the property to the standard required for upcoming guests when animals are present, even with additional cleaning fees. For this reason, the home otherwise remains pet‑free.
Our goal is always to be transparent, respectful, and supportive as guests plan their stay. If you have questions about our service‑animal policy or need help determining whether the home is a good fit, we’re always here to help.
