Check-in & Additional Property Information.

  • Outdoor Furniture.

There’s a large bin with a pink lock containing outdoor furniture. The lock code is DOCK.

Feel free to use these items and return them to the bin when not in use. If strong winds or rain are expected, please try to store them back in the bin to protect them. The rocking chairs are best enjoyed on the back deck.

  • Grill.

A small charcoal grill is available in the backyard. While we check it occasionally, because the charcoal can be used multiple times we don't clean it between each guest so it may need cleaning before use, there should be a wire brush on site for this purpose.

We supply charcoal, lighter fluid, and a long click lighter in the entry closet. Please return these items to the closet after use.

  • Outdoor Activities

There’s a bocce ball set in the entry closet, and the gravel area (additional parking space) near the propane tank is perfect for a game. Enjoy!

Additionally, there is a raft that was left by a guest in the entry closet. I haven’t tested this myself, but you are welcome to give it a try. Please note any water activities are at your own risk as there is no lifeguard available.

  • Towels.

Towels are stored in the bathroom drawer and cabinets.

    - Gray towels: For indoor/bathroom use only.

    - Multi-colored towels: Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

  • Emergency Contact.

    - 911 for immediate emergencies

    - Morrison County Sheriff’s Office: 320-632-9233

    - Little Falls Fire Department: 320-616-5911

    - Julia Lyschik (me): 763-458-1470

Note: A fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen closet.

  • Hazardous Weather

If there are hazardous weather warnings please note that the large brown house next door, the large white/gray house through the woods to the north, and another neighbor 2 driveways up to the north have all agreed to provide shelter if needed.

Please don’t hesitate to inform me ( text or call - 763-458-1470, or send a message through the booking system) if hazardous weather is being reported and I will gladly check in with neighbors and help guide you to safety. I try to keep an eye on the weather in the area, but you may have weather updates available locally more quickly than I will.

Please also read the safety information in the welcome booklet provided at the property.

While your enjoyment and relaxation is a very close second during your stay, your safety is an absolute top priority and we want to ensure we can assist in any emergency as best as possible.
